The golf shop sells apparel, equipment and much more, while the club’s professional golf staff offers private lessons, clinics and activities year round. It’s not rare to see a gator sunning itself, ospreys flying overhead, or egrets, fox and deer running across the fairway. This newly renovated, 18-hole course can be challenging, but more importantly, it offers the player an insider’s view of the island. The Bald Head Island Club is best known for its world-class golf course. Situated on the south side of the island, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Cape Fear River, the Club’s location provides an uncommon opportunity to see the sun rise and set over the water. Also available for off-season monthly rental.The Bald Head Island Club offers members and guests an array of activities for the entire family, year round. 44 ground level in front is a different unit. Entrance to unit is in the back of the building on the top floor. Fishing rods, bikes, board games, puzzles, books, beach cart and DVDs available for guest use. Garage for storing beach equipment and a hose to rinse off the sand.
